70/365: Four mile run in my neighborhood. First day of Spring and it’s 20F. I’m not ready for Summer, but I am ready for temps above freezing.

I missed running, and I missed my friend. But I didn’t miss the lakefront wind chill.

Actual Conversation That Illustrates Why Even Social Media “Experts” Still Don’t Understand Tumblr

Social Media Person: Oh, you have a Tumblr account? How long have you been on Tumblr?
Me: Since 2009.
Social Media Person: And what about your regular blog?
Me: My Tumblr is my regular blog.
Social Media Person: But, I mean where you host your main site.
Me: My main site is my Tumblr. There’s no other site.
Social Media Person: So, you don’t update your other site often?
Me: Look, my Tumblr is not a different version of my site. It IS my site.
Social Media Person: Ah, I see. How long has your blog been on Tumblr?
Me: Since birth.

This is the epitome of why there is no such thing as a “social media expert”. This made my professional day.
